It is the function of the videographer to record the essence of the day, the reverence of the ceremony, the joy, romance, love, celebration, and ethnic traditional significance of each and every event. We accomplish this by being discreet and by not staging activities. To achieve these tasks, our staff develops a rapport with bridal party and clergy, ascertains their desires, understands any restrictions and meets with other participants at the reception: the photographer, band or DJ, host/hostess, etc. to assure complete coverage of the day's events. As I videotape a wedding, I constantly remind myself, my associates and other participants that the bride and groom are the celebrities of the day. It is the most important day of their lives. My staff and I are thoughtful, respectful, discreet, and the way we conduct ourselves reflects these attitudes.
